China PVA Export Overview In Apr 2025

In April 2025, China’s polyvinyl alcohol exports were 19,500 tons, a decrease of -10.42% month-on-month, and the average export price was US$1,780 per ton.

In April, the market price of polyvinyl alcohol continued to focus on the middle and low end. Some of the equipment that had been overhauled in the early stage on the supply side was restarted, and the industry’s operating load increased slightly. The downstream demand side performed mediocrely, and the enthusiasm for inquiries was poor. The terminal market continued to be sluggish, the enthusiasm of downstream factories to start production was not high, and the demand was expected to weaken. The price focus continued to focus on the middle and low end.
